Recorded from the north portal of Mytholmes tunnel, BR Standard 'Britannia' Class 7MT No 70013 'Oliver Cromwell' departs from Oakworth towards Haworth with the 11:50 from Keighley. The loco chime whistle sounds on the approach to the tunnel and a second time as it enters the tunnel. 2:09, 2.5MB

90733 makes an energetic restart from Oakworth with the 12:40 service from Keighley away from Oakworth. 1:38, 1.9MB.

90773 after the re-start from Oakworth

70013 departs from Keighley with the 14:23 'express' service to Oxenhope. This track shows the perils of recording in an urban environment: a car drives past just after the start of the recording, then police cars with 'blues and twos' run across the sound stage as they hurry through the middle of the town. O.Winston Link never had this trouble. After the train has passed, Taff Vale O2 Class 0-6-2T No 85 pulls out of the station. 5:07, 5.9MB.

85 and 'Jinty' 47279 leave Keighley with the 15:05 to Oxenhope. 2:10, 2.5MB

Ivatt Class 2MT 2-6-2T No 41241 (leading) and 90773 leave Keighley with the 15:55 from Keighley. 2:39, 3.0MB

70013 draws freight stock down into Keighley station from the headshunt to the south, grinding on the curve as it passes the recording position. After a brief stop, the movement re-starts. This stock formed the 16:20 freight working heard on the next track. 3:05, 3.5MB

80002 leaves Keighley in charge of the 16:20 freight working to Ingrow West. 3:04, 3.5MB.

70013 departs from Keighley with the 16:35 service to Oxenhope. This track was recorded from the Worth Way, to the south of the station and west of the line. The ground frame is operated as the sound recedes into the distance. With headphones, you can clearly hear the echoes from buildings at both sides of the line. 4:01, 4.6MB

85 and 41241 leave Keighley with the 18:35 from Keighley. 2:15, 2.6MB.

Behind 70013 as it restarts the last train of the day (19:20 ex Keighley) away from Haworth. The train crew are given some encouragement by other railway workers.
