Saturday 30th September
53809 pulls out with the 10:10 freight to Goathland. A dragging brake is spotted. After attention by the guard, the working recommences. 2:14, 2.6MB
30926 and 75029 double-head the 15:05 from Grosmont past Esk Valley. Later in the run 30926 failed, making this its only working of the weekend. 1:43, 2.0MB
53809 taking the 15:45 freight from Grosmont onto the 1 in 49 gradient at Esk Valley. 1:49, 2.1MB.
75029 with the returning Pullman train. 75029 whistles in Levisham station then departs, accelerating steadily and whistling for The Grange. The sound builds as 75029 rounds the curve and whistles for Yorfalls crossing on the climb to Skelton Tower. Sound bounces off the encirclng hillside as the Tower is passed. Sunday 1st October
76079 restarts the 12:15 from Whitby from the stop at Sleights. 1:34, 1.6MB
29 draws the stock of the Pickering shuttle back into Levisham station. 75029 and 80135 then depart with the 13:30 service from Pickering. 2:43, 2.5MB.
